We aim to support not only BrewDog employees past and present, but workers at other organisations with aggressive, toxic or fearful cultures, when they ask for help. We’re only a small group, but we do what we can, as part of a healthy work / life balance.
Our Ambitions
- See BrewDog employees unionised and protected from future harms
- Unite Hospitality are already engaged with BrewDog hospitality workers and we hope to see the company recognise this
- IWW have now formed the Brewery Workers Union, and we encourage brewery staff to join
- Provide a list of resources and contacts for workers in the brewing, hospitality and associated industries
- Our list is live here, and will be kept up to date occasionally
- We co-launched a platform for BrewDog workers past and present to independently register cases of poor treatment, which has now closed having collected many such examples
- Provide guidance for those looking to work for, or with, BrewDog
- We produced a set of guides detailing how best to approach the working relationship
- Generate funds for The Drinks Trust, to cover counselling costs for mental health issues, via crowdfunding (we have already raised over £2000)
- Raise further awareness of the work being done to expose sexism, misogyny and harassment within the brewing and hospitality industries
